The 5-point harness system with front adjustment works really well. It keeps the baby safe and tightly secured. We tested many car seats and as any parent, the number one concern for us is child’s safety. There are many safe car seats on the market, but we noticed they often have certain problems with frond adjustment. It’s either to loose or it is kind of hard to adjust it for your child.

If you cannot quickly adjust the car seat, switch between facing positions or adjust the straps, you lose a lot of time and patience. That’s not the case with Graco ComfortSport Convertible Car Seat as it has three seat heights and two crotch strap positions. We noticed that some car seats don’t offer enough adjustability to crotch straps as some models are just too tight down there for male children. Graco ComfortSport Convertible Car Seat solved this nicely with the two crotch strap positions as they give you enough options depending on the child’s gender and size.

The removable infant head suppor cushions are great additions as they give a lot of comfort and safety to infant children. Once your child grows, you can easily remove the cushions from the car seat.

Correct installation is rather easy with this car seat. There is a easy to read level indicator that helps ensures correct installation in the rear facing position. About positions, Graco ComfortSport Convertible Car Seat offers 5 to 30 pounds in the rear-facing position and 20 to 40 pounds in the front facing position. This is a standard for industry and gives your child a lot of room to grow. You will probably use this car seat until your child is old enough to travel as a grow person.

There is also a cup and snack holder which comes handy on longer journeys. It seems quite durable and we had no problems with it during the testing.

Should you buy Graco ComfortSport Convertible Car Seat?

Overall, Graco ComfortSport Convertible Car Seat a very good car seat especially if you consider it is a budget car seat. It has a lot of features that make the installation of Graco ComfortSport easy. We tested a lot of car seats and this one will definitely stay in our mind as one of the easiest to install. The desing is solid and it is very easy to clean the car seat. Our daughter there up on one of the longer journeys, we just removed the cover and pading, threw them in the washing machine and wiped the plastic shell. Very easy and requires no real effort.

What could be better on Graco ComfortSport Convertible Car Seat? Well, it could have a bit more safety features. This is a budget car seat and you can’t expect it to have a tank-like features as some other premium car seats have. The only prominent safety feature is the energy absorbing foam, which is a great addition on its own. Maybe it’s just that we tested a couple of premium, near $300 car seats recently so our standards are a bit high still.
